This is a bit belated as we just launched this blog, but…

Raconteur version 1.2 is now available in the AppStore. The primary feature added in this version is TextExpander touch snippet expansion. If you use the TextExpander touch application on your iPhone, Raconteur will now expand your abbreviations when you are writing entries. You can use this to quickly enter text you type repeatedly, or to do a few other things like entering the current time. (Thanks to omightyisis for recommending this feature on Get Satisfaction.)

The new version also contains a new setting controlling whether or not today should appear on the Missing tab, called “Today counts missing”:

Having today appear on the Missing tab drives some people crazy, but other people consider it an important part of their workflow because it’s easy to get to the current day’s entry. Now you get to decide what’s best. (Thanks to wahmaster for the feature suggestion.)
